Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 November 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Andrei Parvatkin, trading as Badas Software, Alanya, Türkiye (“we”, “us”), the developer of the Denarika application (“the app”), about your use of the app on iPhone, iPad and Android. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. Licence
The app is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the app, reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly allows, or remove any notices from it. All rights in the app, its name and its design remain ours.
2. Free tier and the paid upgrade
The app is free to use for one person with no limits: unlimited accounts and categories in any currency with automatic daily exchange rates, monthly limits with warnings, charts for any month, the home-screen widget and quick-add shortcuts, sync across your own devices after sign-in, a backup file you can save and restore, and CSV export. There are no ads. An optional subscription, Denarika Family, adds a shared household budget (members you invite by QR code or link join free, up to 6 people in a household, and limit warnings reach every member) and the Year view. It is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play as an auto-renewing subscription. The available plans, their periods, any free trial and the prices are shown in the store and in the app before you buy, and may change over time.
- Subscriptions are auto-renewing. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase, and the plan renews at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. After cancelling, the upgrade stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
If a subscription ends, the paid features stop. Your data is not affected, and nothing is deleted because a plan ended: the members of a household keep read access to everything entered so far and keep their own entries, while new shared entries and new invites stop until the owner renews.
Purchases can be restored on another device signed in to the same store account using Restore purchases in the app’s settings. If we ever change the price of a plan, the new price applies to new subscribers; the store notifies existing subscribers of any change as its rules require.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its own rules: Apple or Google Play. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Nothing in these terms limits any right of withdrawal, refund or other consumer right that the law of your country gives you. Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, which run their own refund process; if you need help, write to us.
3. Your data
The data you record in the app is yours. We handle it as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping your device secure. Export is available in the app at any time, and you can move your data to a new device. In a shared household, the other members see the entries you add to the shared budget.
4. Not medical or professional advice
Denarika is a budgeting tool, not a bank or a financial adviser. It does not give financial, tax or investment advice, and its exchange rates are for reference: your bank or card may convert at a different rate.5. Acceptable use
Do not use the app in any way that breaks the law, harms others, or interferes with the service that keeps the app running. Attacking the sync backend or abusing household invites are examples; we may suspend access from an ID that does so.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We try to keep the app working on current operating-system versions but cannot promise support for every device or version forever. If the sync service is ever discontinued, your data on the device and your ability to export it are not affected, and you will be given reasonable notice.
Some features need an internet connection. Data charges from your carrier are your responsibility.
7. Third-party terms
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and uses the third-party services listed in the privacy policy. Their terms apply to their services. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or for these terms and have no obligation to provide support for it; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability. Where the law does not allow this disclaimer, it applies to the extent permitted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim (zero if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end this licence if you break these terms. On termination your right to use the app ends; the privacy policy explains how to have your data deleted.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there. Before starting any legal proceeding, please write to us and give us 30 days to resolve the matter informally.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address with its date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
